spy thang ? Thread

well im in da middle of making a spy mod .. i guess.. for q1..
so far for ideas i got-

optical camera
picking up objects for distractions ala deus ex
hijacking computers
key codes for doors
shooting lights so enemy cant find you
ladders

i cant think of more to code.. ive got this all in da bag but i need more or else itll be just meh.. vanilla.

oh and i got some crappy pix of the terrorists/guard model (crappy skins need to be redone of course)

yea i just made it so you cant strafe and cant shoot unless prone..
the third person camera then zooms in for a over-the-shoulder view and you slightly crouch

i made it so it doesnt focus on your weapons because you only get 1 or 2 clips per mission
the 2 guns so far are

So it will be a sneaker kind of like Theif, but set in modern day?

Sounds really cool.

I suggest adding puzzles you must figure out. For example maybe have a message, then you (the player) has to crack the code with out the aid of a computer. I think that would be cool and original.

i really like it so far.

you should have a huge indeep plot for it if your going for a deus ex aproach.

I remeber there was a mod for it, that should get you started. It had the skins and a few weapons.

sounds like splinter cell with a crappier engine =p ...... cool =D need a concept artist? ;p

ohh i love making stuff on old engines, its so fun for some reason and the engine can be coded to be very advanced
