Seeing as the other thread started out a wee space talk, I thought it might be better to make a thread about space.

We could discuss the recent and current events that have been going on, like with the cassini huggens saturn space probe, and maybe our future in space.

Just see what interesting discussions come out of it :)

Please dont start aruging and getting into flame wars :(

The rings of Saturn are made of dirt? The crap in your backyard? Jeez, now I'm no longer excited for Saturn's rings....

....science....scary.... oh well they should make the probe go into saturn and see whats inside

360 is great, my live accounts are frozenrazor154 and macro razor154.I show up for a month , i disappear for two ... what is wrong with that?

Easier said than done. It could be very dangerous to get in there, what with all the dust, ice, rocks, and other debris. It could tear the probe apart. Nope, best to play it safe and do more research on it and then go inside.

Is not dust, ice and rocks that is the problem with makeing a probe that is made to go i not the center of the saturn. The main problem is the high presure of the saturn. No manmade matriala can handel the presure.

They have send a probe to Jupter wich is a simler gas gaint. The probe namned Galileo and it was able to colect some data before it was destroy. Ther ar also the problem with extrem winds and other wether phenomom wich will vaporiz it in second. But if you just whant to studie the most upper atmospher then we can send a probe to day without a big problem. (But somone got to pay for it.)
