Dont you think not ensuring that anyone you add to your team for this project has the correct licenses for the software they use is somewhat slacking on your responsibilities, especially since your planning on selling this to people. |

It's not the responsibility of the company to ensure that it's freelancers are using legitimately owned software, that responsibility is down to the freelancer, and the freelancer will be solely held responsible. It's only the responsibility of the company if they are hiring permanent staff and working on company owned hardware. |
