Silent Planet HL2 Project looking for new talents Thread

Hi everyone,

We are looking for new talents for an exiting and innovative Half Life 2 Mod : Silent Planet - Website at Silent-planet.org.
So far the team consists of serious programmers with both MOD and game programming experience.
Even though the HL2 SDK hasn´t been released yet, we have already started working on the game code, and are making good progress.

Silent Planet is a new kind of game modification for Half-Life 2, featuring a persistent universe, resource management, RPG aspects and intense first person action. The game will consist of two main parts :

1. Strategy, diplomacy, and character management through the Silent Planet web site
2. Epic clan wars using the Half-Life2 engine

they keep bumping it back i said to myself forget it so i moved my mod to far cry

Yeah, that is a concern, but so far we´re coding the website part of the game and the C++ libraries we´ll use in the MOD (database access and so on) so we don´t need the SDK yet to work on the project.
And that has the advantage of allowing us to use this library with any other game SDK should Half Life 2 be delayed for too long.
But we would rather use HL2 because of the amount of people who are going to buy it and the exterior environment handling.
