I'm guessing the engineer just went the same length he did the first time? But the mathematician went half of what he did last time. That or it's some trick joke that I haven't understood yet |

Engineers apply math to real world scenarios ... they use do-able mathmatical models that approximate real world scenarios ... they don't use exact mathmatical models that are impossible to use ... The engineer did the same thing as the mathmatician ... but at some point he thought to himself "close enough" and walked out of the room ... The mathmatician however is a perfectionist when it comes to mathmatical equations, so he gets really really close, but never reaches the doorway I told you its a bad joke ...
