I, Aple, have decided to take up production of this SC2 mod for starcraft i have done some progress into it but i need these few simple things, 1. Someone good with mpq. 2. Someone good with altering sc2 art. 3. Someone good with combining dat and button change settings. 4. Someone who can make starcraft A.I. Scripts (if no one comes to claim this one within 5 days i might just take this mod to bwai and get some there) if there is anyone out there willing to help me out with this please let me know via in this post or pm me. - Aple Edited by: Aple |

How do you even know that the art techniques, mpq, dat and 'button changes' even work the same way in the sequel? I'm willing to bet money, that none of them do. |

Aple , Im no good at this things u asked help for , but im glad that u decided to continue on with the mod , i think if its done completly itl be great , so wish u good luck in finding help and finishing it , and pls do it quickly , Good luck ! |

ambershee, i don't think you quite understand its a mod for starcraft 1 that turns it into starcraft 2, less the fact of the 3d generated graphics. |

Then my first point still stands. Who says SC2 uses mpq files? Who says SC2's meshes can be exported and altered? Who says SC2 will use dat files? Who says SC2 will use the same kind of AI scripts? You're jumping the gun about a game engine you don't know anything about. SC1 knowledge may or may not port into SC2. I'm betting that large parts of it won't. |

Well we can't understand you Aple, because "its a sc1 mod that turns it into sc2" is a bit too generalized. I don't even understand what you mean by that. So you are going to put the new SC2 units in SC or something? -- Founder - Grand-Games |

Yes, that's what he's talking about; adding the new content and changing the gameplay of SC1 to match the newer game. |
