Resume downlods impossible? (Forums : Support : Resume downlods impossible?) Locked

Strange thing: I just tried to download a HL²-mod (451MB) and FlashGet told me that the server doesn't support resuming downloads. That's somehow unpleasant. I mean, many mods are large nowadays and having to restart everything when the connection's broken or cancelled is annoying. Am I the only one with that problem or not? If not, why?

fileplanet supports resuming download. (SEE?! Something GOOD about signing up for a free download service! Not to you but to FP haters!) It's site cependant. I'm assuming sites now a days don't think people need it due to fiber optic bandwidth (yeah, right!)

The mod isn't on steam? They support download resuming , don't they?
