Resident evil mod Thread

I havent been able to surf all of the posts. So i dont know if there is one but wouldn't Farcry be a decent engine to build a mod on for it.
i mean most of the monsters are close enough(apes mutants become hunters the mutated solider with rocket launcher maybe a nemisis and mod a pig to be the zombie dog ) heck i think it would be great could even have the tropical birds being ravens. i would love to do the mod but i have zero experince in doing any of it. im trying to learn the sandbox editor right now but other than plot and decoration of where to put stuff im pretty far from anything. so if there is any good mod makers out there (that are not busy with other) try out the idea it might be a great mod.(hell id play the heck out of it)

meh.. hl mod tried it and failed.. got my hopes up and everything.. no one is dedicated enough to mod the static camera views and gameplay.. nor do i blame them

althouh a finished RE mod would be kick-arse!!

but anything like RE isnt at all original... which kinda sucks

a mod of it is.. ive seen no good third person zombie mods to date.

There's one being done by RenegadeX that's part of his little codename series, it isn't exactly resident evil but should play like it.

hell id just be happy with a decent zombie mod at all
or if sombody could mod the people id drag and drop it in a farcry map and learn from there.

do it yourself.. i know this forum is also to ask ppl for hgelp but no one wants to model or code for someone else's modification! learn yourself.. jeez.

thisforum would have 1/3 the members and 1/5477654765 the topics if ppl just learned themselves!

My bad sorrrrrrrrryyyy any idea then where to start for help files or videos or such on how to do coding and model work or programs?
