Does anyone here know what Capcom used to create the animation in Resident Evil the REmake?

I believe motion capture and most likely 3DS Max. Either that or Maya.

Nah, Capcom has been a long time user of SOFTIMAGE|3D, before switching to Softimage XSI (now Autodesk Softimage) during the days of transitioning from the PS1 to PS2. They've been using it ever since, all the way up to their latest games (RE5, DMC4, Lost Planet, etc). It's harder to find the older customer articles due to the age of the game (I assume the remake you're talking about is the one for the Gamecube?), but archive.org has something for ya:

Yes the one on Gamecube, and thank you everyone for your support.
