formerlyknownasMrCP	Doesn't ad blocker stop ModDB from getting revenue though? ideally fixing the problem is the way to go rather than just ignoring it or blocking it out.

eXeC64	Some gaviscon advert streams audio + video without my interaction, same thing for some washing machine powder advert I saw yesterday. I'm just going to adblock all the adverts on moddb if I keep getting video adverts that autoplay, they're intrusive and a waste of my bandwidth.

LancerSolurus	The ad problem isn't just on this site. Many of them try any tactic to make you look at their ads, the worst is the pop-under ad which opens a whole new window in the background and it starts making all kinds of noise. Or the bugged flash ads that crash IE (a problem since Flash 9 came out). Haven't had that one here but it's common on the news sites such as wreg.com & cnn.com
