Renderer Thread

The renderer that comes with XSI sucks, so does any one know where I can get a better one?

what kind of renderer are you talking about? like take still images of objects?

3ds max and maya are great for that, but like 3-4k each

Well my buget is limeted... I am looking at free to 5$ USD

Maybe some free software has a render, for example, GMax or Maya PLE. Both are free to use. I'm not suee about all of their features, but if you google them and check their websites, you may find out.

I used Gmax, no render there, I guess I will check out that maya thing.

use gmax w/ splutterfish no?

Splutterfish is 3dsmax, which is expensive. I looked into just buying splutterfish, 700$ usd. Or 150$ usd for a year long licens. Gmax cannot render at all.
