Recruting C++ Coder / Character Artist / Concept Artist Thread

Hi im Eric 29 from Germany

For my new project i am looking for a C++ Coder, Charachter Artist/Animator and Conecpt Artist.

I usually describe the game as a mix of Amnesia The Dark Descent / Fahrenheit /Allan Wake

Story In two sentence:
The Player is on a vacation with his dog, when he finds a deserted old house, “accidently” gets stuck in the basement and has to find a way back. While finding his way back he discovers a locked gate with the voice of a women calling him from the other side. He decides to look into it. At the end of the game he finds the woman and realizes…. Not going to spoil the ending

Environment:
„Autumn holiday in the countryside“ style
Lots of References from Brittany and Ireland
yellow/brown/dark green colors

Gameplay:
Exploring, puzzle solving and surviving are the main tasks in this game.
There wont be any weapons involved. Also no regular healthbar.
However the player will be attacked and also can die. The damage done to the player is not physical but mental.
For instance: Staying in dark areas, hights or otherwise scary/dangerous environments will lower his mental-health.
Also there will be some sort of “enemys” who will go after the player and can only be avoided or trapped.

The Dog:
-Dog retrieves items that are unreachable for the player
-Dog runs away (chasing a squirrel or whatever) and must be caught again
-Dog finds hidden items
-Dog warns against danger
-Dog must be carried over larger Barricades
-From time to time the player can pet the dog to gain back some “mental energy”

I plan to release this in episodes, depending on how well the first episode is going to be accepted this might become a pretty big project.
Releasing this as a free mod for the source engine so there is no money involved (MIGHT (BIG MIGHT) release future episodes as paid content)
