We (a team of artists) are currently looking for a game designer, we have ideas and we would like to hear your ideas and meet together and confer about the mechanics and workings of the game. Strong interest in sci-fi and fantasy is encouraged. You should be motivated and willing to work very quickly and be willing to listen to other peoples ideas. Strong verbal and written communications skills is a must, experience in other applicable & useful field is a plus, including but not limited to traditional art, concept art, 3D or experience with a game engine.

The current idea is a sci-fi shooter set in the winter for exteriors and architecture for interiors is a mixture of old architecture retrofitted with science fiction elements combining the two looks into a unique design. New pure sci-fi complexes will inhabit some levels as well. I won't bore you with plot details as we're primarily focused on design & establishing the core mechanics before writing and end up empty handed with just a few pages of text.

We're currently working on concepts for the game and we're at a very early stage, we're excited to be starting a new project and every member of the team has some form of production experience. Currently the entire team consists of concept artists so we're looking for somebody experienced in game design to help feed off of our ideas and submit new ones, we have a few core mechanic ideas that we want to implement using the UDK and all of our team have strong cross production skills, and we expect applicants to at very least have strong writing skills with there design idea.

Current team members include lead artist (environments, props, characters) interior artist (interior enviros + prop & architecture design), character artist, and a general concept artist. This game is designed and developed by artists and therefore our goal is a very artistically driven & styled game (realistic but with desire for strong emphasis on mood & atmosphere)

Applicants should contact me via skype (skype is preferred for conference call participation) at Spiffy10096 or MSN messenger Spacemanspiff982@yahoo.com, or e-mail me.
