As far as I can tell my family did have ties to the Germans back then, but I don't know much about my family at the time. Some of it I don't know much about and the others I know prior to the war fled here to Australia. On Wednesday I actually got to listen to a Holocaust survivor talk to the Genocide class I'm currently attending and her stories were pretty brutal. I'm even thinking of creating a mod about the Holocaust, it seems like it would be quite an emotional and story-driven mod. The person who talked to us had survived a trip to Auschwitz twice and when she was liberated, she was only 51 pounds, at 22 years old. Just because I said I am Russian doesn't mean I live in Russia or go to a Russian school.. And I'm not talking about a fictional mod based off of the Holocaust, I'm talking about a mod based on the perspective of one of the many Jews/Romas who were caught in the genocide.
