Does Moddb delete VERY old Threads? If not, I would suggest making some kind of automatic time-cutoff or something else that deletes the oldest threats... otherwise the servers will get fuller and fuller with old, not anymore used threads...

Amen Bart.

Plus text doesn't take so much space, it can be easily stored on servers.

Yeah, but still the servers get fuller...until ModDB has to buy new ones...

Old stuff can't be deleted, S&F is a classic and I definitely enjoy browsing around and reading old threads back from the old ModDB days. ;(

Never delete any of the old threads. It hardly causes any harm to the server here on Moddb, not to mention it'd be quite the unpopular choice :P

INtense hasn't had a problem in the past with how many threads there are, so he sure won't complain about them now.

"more full" not fuller.

i dont really see a point in keeping them, after all barely anyone looks back other than to link to a few choice ones

how would you know if no one goes back to look at them?

He doesn't look back... I think he meant that.
I also don't look back...

It's because you're a new member who only joined this month so you don't have any real memories of threads from the forum's past :P

Leave the threads alone, I say. I'll fight for that ;(

there should be a cut off point but if the server can take it i think we can deal.

Old threads do pose big loads and get read rarely. They wont be deleted however so don't worry. If this ever becomes an issue i will archive all of the old stuff.
