Q3 mods Thread

Currently working on v2 of my TRX mod for Q3.

I have loads of other projects I would like to do under Q3 [all models available from polycount:

Aliens
======

Have: pulse rifle, flamethrower (of sorts), Ripley, Alien models
Looking for: assorted marine models

Simpsons
========

Have: 4 characters models
Looking for: more characters, esp. Bart. cel-shaded maps to give cartoon look

Quekken
=======

QUake tEKKEN - I did a (rather lame!) demo for q2. would like to redo for Q3 (but not lame)

Have: bullet time effects, 1 or 2 weapon models
Looking for: character models, esp. Matrix. wall-running code

Lego
====

Have: excellent lego models, plus lego gibs with blood!

Starship Troopers
=================

Have: arachnid models
looking for: marine models, weapon models

Danger Girl
===========

Have: some very hi quality (also very dodgy cert 18) anger girl models
Looking for: some more character models

Tomb Raider
===========

Have: tomb raider model, based on Angelina Jolie
Looking for: other character models, puzzle-solving maps, models for map items

Sonic
=====

Have: sonic models
Looking for: platform maps, models for various pickups, enemies

2001: a space odyssey
=====================

Have: Hal900 sounds!, idea for great map effects for monoliths
Looking for: astronaut models, spaceship models (Discovery, pod, space station, etc), spaceship interior maps

absolutely - but permission sought and credit given of course

a first person tomb raider game would be nice, but it'd have to come from eidos, not a third party effort, mostly because you'd have to do a whole lot more than just make it first person, you'd have to revamp everything the series stood for.

a cool feature would be to look down and stare at your boobs :-P

HA! I would have called that too, since I actually own that game. kinda ashamed to though. Had a physics engine with potential for its time, but the level design was absolutely terrible.

On top of which, the health meter is that heart tattoo, which is a little awkward.
