Prop location Thread

Ok, so I've gotten a few props for my mod, (none of which are stolen)
it's just the folders look so messy,
in the model folder, some props are in their own folders, making it kind of hard for my mappers to see what all is available to them
How do you change the folders that you put the models in and still get them to work
for example, I have
models/x/model1
models/x/model2
models/y/model3
models/xyt/model4
and I want to make them all go in a new folder
models/t/model1
models/t/model2
models/t/model3
models/t/model4

do I have to hex the models? or how would I go about doing this,
any help would be greatly appreciated

anyone have a tut or something they can link me to ?
