I don't know if this would really be useful but sometimes it's easy to go a miss when someone posts on your profile page and you don't always see it, so(unless theres an option in profile settings) would it be possible to get a notification when you login to the site etc? :P

something like DeviantArts system would be cool, it states things like "[user] posted a comment on [page]", I always manage to know what is going on that way.

I suggested that before V4 release and I think Jiffy_Noob or someone like him(like ambershee or leilei) went and shoned it. :(

Only include it as an option though. This feature existed in modDB since v1 so it's not exactly a fresh new idea. Some people don't like being notified about comments in every inch of their commentable entries though.

It'd be fine if it was included that you had "New Profile Comments" in your site watch list. Best place for it.

Agreed with Leilei, considering that I get messages mostly from people I don't know / don't like, I'd really rather not be spammed about it (definitely no pop-ups, kthx). If I know you and you want to chat, fucking call me lol.

I've been asking for this since the beta.

That would be great. I would like if it had sub directories for your mods, games, etc but you could choose to ignore them and wouldn't have to clear everyone. For example instead of having it built into the updates system we have now (which I hate clearing things out of) it could be more of a news page just telling you X member commented on X page on X date, you could just drop in from time to time to check it out and updates wouldn't pile up to ungodly amounts.

Agreed, probably the most annoying part is that you need to manually clear it, instead of it clearing it self after visiting the update.
