Hi there, I've recently installed ekszbox ABX as I'm trying to change the sounds on Crysis for a uni project in game audio, upon install I'm shown a txt that tells me to enable the codec in device manager, in fact:

"When installation is complete:

-Go to your Device Manager
-Double click "Audio Codecs"
-Go to the Properties tab
-Double click "Xbox ADPCM Audio CODEC"
-Be sure "Use this audio codec" is enabled
-Change codec priority to 1
-Click "OK"

NOTE:

This has only been tested on Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro.
Also, there may be side effects from changing the priority, but
there have been no reports as of yet.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

If you have any conversion Xbox ADPCM playback/conversion
problems double-check the codec in Device Manager to make sure it
set to: "Use this audio codec"

is how it reads, problem is, the codec doesn't show up and therefore I know of no way of enabling it, any ideas?

I don't know where else exactly to post a question like this but thought some of you here may have encountered this problem, I'm running Windows XP 64 (the wonderfully awkward platform it is).

If any of you could help at all I'd much appreciate it.

Thanks,

Dan
