Seriously i mean they locked our old debate thread so what can the canadates to that will make you vote for them.

Since they want everyone to vote (and when im the age to vote)

Ill just vote randomly , becuase im not interested in politics atol

Even if EVERYTHING we do now aday revolves roudn politics

Well thats kind of self-contradictory isn't it?
Even if you have no interest in politics, and even if all the candidates for an election make you want to throw up every time you hear their name, its still important to choose the lesser of two (or more) evils, nomatter how painful that may be. Otherwise you're likely to end up with a slightly more horrible leader than the other alternative, a situation that you could have avoided!

IMO party politics is the biggest problem with our governments at the moment; my idea of an ideal political system would be a single government where members are voted in and out by the public at all levels, and have a much neater system for doing so (ie. include online voting to streamline the process). Of course thats an extremely unrealistic and simplistic view, but i'm sure you can see what i'm getting at...

Oh, and a note about keeping threads clean: try to start threads with a fairly fleshy post that gives your opinion on a topic and has some material that people would want to reply to, use big words to intimidate people from posting crap in the thread (;)) and make sure all your replies actually have some valid contribution to the discussion, even if their primary purpose is to reply to something slightly off-topic. Everyone that replies to a thread has some impact on the direction of the thread, so do your bit to keep it on the road. Can't fail!
