Hey everyone. I'm looking for some ambitious people who would like to work on a police simulation type mod for Half-Life 2. All positions are open right now for modelers, sound techies, mappers, coders, etc. If you have any kind of modding skill and you do well at it, you are more than welcome to join us.

Here's a summary of the mod.
This mod is sort of a simulation following an average cop on his work day. A storyline is quite likely at this point although I don't have details at this time.
Throughout this mod, you would be on patrol in your squad car on the look for crimes in progress and listening for crimes on the dispatch. You would have the decision to take a crime when announced on the radio or not.
There would be a variety of crimes ranging from 7-11 holdups all the way to large incidents such as bank robberies. Obviously, you would have access to backup depending on the situation. You could be the first responder to the 7-11 holdup and call for a squad car or maybe you would join your buddies already in a large firefight as you roll up to the store. For the large scale incidents, you could be playing many roles mainly depending on when you show up. If you show up early, you could be the first to secure the area while calling for SWAT teams and additional units. If you're a straggler, you might end up being put on perimeter watch while the SWAT team takes care of things. It all depends on factors like that.
This mod will attempt to be as realistic as possible. As in real life, you can only take so many torso shots before you go down. You could also be shot in the leg which could incapacitate you. Since you are mister Average Joe, you will be carrying Average Joe's weapons and equipment as well. Pepper spray, flashlight, handcuffs, standard handgun (Colt .45 or Beretta M9 possibly), possibly a shotgun in the trunk, etc.
