Hi all,
I'm really interested in getting started on a classic style (the type with a character from the 80s / 90s, not the new "escape the room" type) Point'n'Click Adventure I have a story for.

I'm wondering if any of you could recommend a good engine for doing this? I've found "Adventure Game Studio" and some others which are catered for doing exactly that - but it does not have exporting to mobile options on it. (ideally I would like to release it on mobiles in the future).

Hoping you can offer any advice
Regards

You could use GameMaker Studio if you are planing to use 2D Graphics.
It does have the option of porting your game for the mobile (if you have the pro version + modules)
It goes fast, especially if you plan on prototyping the game (which you should IMO).

If you want to use 3D, why not Unity?

It is a good starting point at least.

Best of Luck

Adventure game studio is certainly the way to go. After that it gets a little broad.

Gamemaker certainly seems like a fair choice.
