Pic pimpage Thread

Yea I was just wondering how the hell they make the model pics on the moddb homepage look so good. I was just wondering if its part of the modeling program they use or if its an entire different thing? If anyone does know then please tell me how I can do this or where i can get the prog.

oh thats easy first you got to make good models. Like those models you did i see on moddb are not the greatest. realy not the greatest. But it is partialy the program. 3d Max i suggest it what i use.. You know that model i sent you awhile ago thats a good model

yea hes right, they are not the greatest, and im glad you are looking for a good rendering program, i suggest 3d max too, you see you can take a crap model and make it look sweet just by the rendering, and lighting, and the whole scene in general, and you can also make the best model in the world and have the crappiest render ever to make it look very ugly.

Ok thanks you guys.........the models on the profile are old I could have sworn I took the quazi off there but apparently not. I will render some of the newer models I have been working with then post 'em.
