Hi there.
Over the last half year I've been working on this Terraria inspired game. It started out as a project to learn myself more about game developing, but as it turned out the project has grown increasingly bigger over time. Now and then I post a new video of this game, which I've already shown in the general forum some time ago. Now I just finished making my next movie, and figured it might be a good idea to show it to someone and maybe get some feedback.
If the video below catches your interest, please don't hessitate to take a look at some of the other videos I've made. The point of this project is to show how my project evolves, without hiding the errors I make through the journey.

On a longer term, my idea with this game is to have it much more event driven than Terraria. In Terraria there are some events, like bloodmoon event, goblin invasion, random meteors and stuff like that. This, in my opinion, adds a lot of flavour to the game. What I would like to do with my game is to extend on that idea. I want to create a dynamic world that feels alive, by creating many various events. This can be anything from something like the bloodmoon event (Moon turns red, zombies invade all night) to something simple like a specific constellation showing up on the sky, which may mean some rare flower grows somewhere- Or maybe a certain type of animal/mob shows up when it rains and a double rainbow shows appears. The idea is not to totally rely on the events to carry the game, but to keep the game fresh for a longer time.

If you have any feedback, or just feel like commenting in any way, please don't hessitate. Any feedback is better than no feedback, right? :)

Thank you for reading/watching!
