PC Noob needs help with modloader Thread

Hi all I’m new to the world of pc gaming and I’m enjoying it very much. My problem is this I don’t have a clue what the hell im doing when trying to install mods and need if possible someone that can talk me through step by tiny tiny step so I can learn. Any help would be great (be kind remember you was a noob once 2 ☺️)

The installation procedure can vary a lot among mods, so it really depends on the mod you are interested in. Installation instructions are usually included in a readme file (or similar) in the mod's package. If such a file isn't available, you can try one of the following:

• Look for instructions in the mod's page.
• Look for instructions in the download page (the page where you download the mod's package).
• Post a comment in the mod's page asking for assistance.
• Send a private message to the creator of the mod ("send message" link).
• Post here in the forums, but be more specific (mention which mod you want to install and for which operating system).
