Hey man firstly I would like to say welcome to the audio community of moddb. I have been a member of moddb for a few months now and have come to the conclusion that this site is more of a portfolio aid, pretty much everyone on here is a small developer and do not have cash to spend on music development for the games they are producing, maybe instead of automatically trying to charge for your music you should do some free work. I know it may sound like a crazy thing to do but I think that the most valuable thing about this site is networking as it may lead to something bigger provided you get on a good team or multiple teams. Just try to start getting your name recognised in the community, do some free work, obviously you would keep the copy right to all the music you produce but it enables others to discover your talents as a composer and also I think you will find mods and indie games are a steep learning curve from composing from film and tv. It is a pretty cut throat industry and the best thing you can do is network and do as much as you can on a personal portfolio, however do not take on to many projects as this can lead to problems with all parties involved. I hope this helps you in getting some work and jumping on board a good team.
All the best

I totally agree. Most teams on Moddb are working on Mods which is self-funded and often no money involved. If you want to get a paid position checkout certain indie games (commercial). The music on your site isn't the best i have seen most sounds like the basics of Fruity Loops or some software similar. Personally i say build up your portfolio doing some free stuff once you get noticed and if your good enough you will get a job.

Not to mention, with the large quantity of aspiring musicians already offering and working for free, I think it'd be very difficult to find paid work here ;)

Thanks for the advices!
i was unsure if ModDB would be the right place for a payment post, but i did it nevertheless...

I am currently well busy with free projects (thats why i currently only look for paid work), but once they are done i really might consider this place as the next resource.

Thanks again!

Chris~
