Not letting me download installers Thread

Hello, I've tried multiple time to download mods that use installers or launchers. But recently I cant get them to work. What im talking about is when the security check is done the download will either ask you to open, save, or run the file. It never gives me the option to run the file. I have to either go to mediafire or other places to get the file to work. I have no idea why this would occur on moddb as I use this site vigorously. If any one has an idea or a fix I would be most grateful!

Could you show some screenshots of it happening? ModDB could be blocked by something on your end.

Well, I guess it's an antivirus problem, so disable your AV, run the software, then turn your AV back on.

I've tried it without the AV and its the same thing, It tells me to either open or save never run. Its starting to sound like something on my end is preventing the file from reading as a launcher but I have no idea what could cause this other than the AV.

What browser, browser plugins, OS, and antivirus software are you using? Active download managers, plugins and even download folder/location itself can cause problems.
