Hey there!
After you turn all the lights green a door will open under them and you need to go there (and better be fast too ^^'''). To go there from the generator 3 room you go forward and out into the hallway. When you're there look for an oppening on the wall that you can go into on your right and go in. When you reach the end of it turn right and you just keep going forward. You should be able to reach the door without any problems. Good luck after getting to the door! Hope this helped. =)

Oh right, introduction xP
Nice to meet you all! I'm "music7car" but just call me "car" or "m7c". =)
I LOVE horror games and any game that has a really good story, so if you know any good ones please reply to this post or leave a coment in my profile! Thanks! ^^

Hey guys, I'm new here, and I bring a lot of questions :P
I have a mad plan to build a roleplay-purposed environment - blend of a 13th century mysterious, undiscovered Caribbean island, voodoo magic, and a gateway to a mystical world of wonders and terrors beyond human comprehension. No questing, no leveling, no raids, battlegrounds or any of that nonsense. World built strictly to roleplay in.I'm after a large, flowing, open world without damned loading screens everywhere in between or paths that must be followed to get from point A to B. No impassable hills or walls between areas. A place that feels natural. Now, I've been considering to use WoW 3.3.5 and Noggit to build a completely new world, however I would be happier to have slightly fresher graphics.

I take few other options into consideration:Neverwinter Nights 2 - however is there any way to force the map editor to make areas MUCH larger than the standard maximum grid size?
What about using Oblivion and its toolset? Could it be modded/adapted to work somewhat like a MORPG?
Or perhaps someone has a better idea of what to use as the backbone?I'd need a game that has rich world building tools, allows large open spaces without transitions, and requires as little code digging as possible to make it happen.
Many thanks for any suggestions!!!

Hi ho, Gallimastro here.

Yes, I'm a newb. Been fascinated with game development since I was very young, been talked out of it and discouraged many, MANY times. This time I've decided to go at it alone without outside interference holding me back. My first goal is just to release a game I've had in development for a few months.

I work using Construct 2, its a nice HTML5 game editor which is perfect for someone who lacks extensive programming knowledge such as myself. Before that, it was RPG Maker and Unreal Engine, neither venture bore fruit.

I hope to get to know many of you as I make this place one of my many hangouts.

Hi all, from Mrcespenar and thanks for the welcome.

I can't afford many games, so I like to add mods to them to make them more playable.
That is why I joined here. It seems there are quite a few interesting mods for the STALKER series.
I can't mod anything. It is all to complicated for my old brain.

Hello. I'm AstralGod. I enjoy gaming of course. My favorite type are open-world games like GTA and Saints Row because they allow you to be limited to only your imagination. I am sort of a big completionist when it comes to achievements. I used to make flash games a few years back but now I am starting to learn scripting better so that I can move to making more advanced games like 3D games. I am aiming to become a writer, music writer, and voice actor for games. This seems to be a good gaming community. So that about wraps it up. I would love to chat with you all so you can PM me here, add me on Desura @ AstralGod, or add me on Steam.

Hi my name is James,

I'm studying Computer Games Development in the UK, i started a small indie group which comprises of myself and a few of my peers.

This site looks like a great platform to get some work out there and i am thrilled to have found it, we have no major game releases worth mentioning to date and currently work in our own time around studies. My strength is programming and by far my favorite part of game making.

Well that's the basics covered, i look forward to playing your games and hopefully making some games the community will appreciate, so that said peace out and thanks for allowing me to be part of this community.

Welcome everyone!

Hey James, you said programming is your forte? Would you be interested in helping with another project? My "Silver Symbiosis" game has a dev team that lacks a programmer at the moment so we are stalled. Please PM me if you're interested!

Hey gang. I’m a fairly new Desura user. I drifted in after
buying a few games from This afternoon I’ll be picking up “samurai_jazz”
which will be my first Desura purchase directly from the store and not from a
bundle or something. I must say I have really been enjoying it here.

Favorite Desura games right now:

Love+ By Fred Wood
Little Racers STREET (My son loves this one as well)
Super Tower Rush

HI there! I AM new to desura. I am a PC gamer who also uses Steam. I mainly use Steam for games I bought on steam and for games I havn't, I use desura(Legal retail copies). Love sports, gaming. Sadly I cannot play hours at a time because of my bad eyesight and how I do not want to go blind.

Considering I am relatively new to this site, I figured it'd be a good idea to introduce the more useful aspects of myself: My name is Khita, I am a huge video game nerd (as I'm sure most here are) and an artist of varied capabilities. Tattooing is my day job, but I love to do freelance work more so. Feel free to check out my work via the 'website' link on my profile.

Yo, Rod here. I'm a sound engineer and producer who's new to designing audio for games but have been playing games all my life and i spend rather a large amount of my life playing them, so I'm well excited to get the ball rolling and start doing some wicked sound work. I've been training in sound for vision, producing bands and a bit of live engineering but really want to get into games and audio for the deeper complexity and 3D aspect of sound design. I'm currently experimenting with Unity but encourage any advice you might have about software. If any of you guys are also into audio for games, I'd love to pick your brains about what software you started off on or are currently using, any programming skills i can't afford not to have, any general advice or even some projects we could work on. The site looks awesome and I'm stoked about getting stuck in. Can't wait to getting chatting and working with you guys

Hey, I'm a newbie. I'm also an indie developer, and I was wondering, is there a fee to publish to desura? Thanks!

Jun 20 2013, 6:44am Anchor

I just joined the site after coming across it constantly in my research.

My background is in digital music and sound production, but this last year, I switched over modeling and animation. Got myself a decent computer, Blender, some tutorials and a bottle of Advil to teach myself the basics. Took the extra step of signing of to get certified in Animation and 3d modeling starting this fall just so I have a full understanding of both processes.

Like most members, from what I've gathered, I have a project under development, but I'm not going to bore anyone with the details until the right time.

I'm an avid gamer, although I pretty much exclusively play FPS games.

And I believe I'm one of the last remaining consumers of the printed page. I devour horror, cyberpunk and sci-fi novels.

Hmm, well, nice to meet you all, and I hope you can forgive some english misspelling here and there, because sometimes Google can't save me D: !
I've been more into MMORPGS for the last years, so in my list you will find Ragnarök, Priston Tale, Fly for Fun, Eden Eternal, Perfect World and few others I can't remember anymore...
Also, I play/played and created personal items for Sims 2 and 3, just to give myself a great excuse to learn 3D modelling :P. A big FAIL most times, but fun nonetheless!

I'm 24, visual artist (macro photographer), and I use this male-ish nickname just because *shrugs*. I'm not a developer or anything (at least not now! Need much more knowledge), and I'm here because I'm trying to give a chance to a kind of game I'm not used to (I'm starting with Mass Effect), and you see... I love personalized content, mods and such, and just found one for ME here :)!

I'm into some old eletronic music (like Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk, but I also love ones like Daft Punk or Slagsmalsklubben) and synthpop mostly. I enjoy arts books (no, not the ones about techniques, actually... those ones with many arts discussions and theories) and, well, insects! My best models around, haha!
