New Tetris Game Idea (Circular Tetris) Thread

Hey,
I have been thinking of idea about the tetris game.
It is circular tetris. You have to rotate the circle(on which the blocks are placing rather than the bottom of the game.

You rotate the circle and if the circle of blocks is complete it will get destroyed and circle will become shorter.
The new blocks will come from top and taping on screen would change its angle(rotate it).
To rotate the circle, we will have two buttons in the bottom.

You feedbacks on the idea are welcome.
I can code and launch the game.But, I need design and artwork.

This sounds interesting, reminds me of like Tetrisphere only in 2D. I don't really see why you would need much design for a game that is about random assortments of tetronimos though, would you care to elaborate on what design you need? Still, it would be a fun coding project. Good luck!

I want a graphical representation of the 2d circular tetris. How would be the blocks(tetronimos)?

What do you say about game like terisphere(3d) for hand held devices?

It's just tetris with horizontal looping, blocks can go out of the right side and come in from the left when moved on the axis, and a slightly deviant graphical representation. There's no art involved, just math and programming the draw methods.

Just write the tetrisgame and learn opengl enough to make it look like the idea.
