There is some updates here eaven if it dosen´t shown as new updated.

It takes place in the middle of 1936 until the begin of 1939.
Iron sight will be used.
Hopfully also Armoredcars and Tanks.
There will be supply points in every objective or respawnpoint.
"Achivments" that will be seen as medals at youre personla jacket when they been done.

Play modes:
Mostly capture the points but maybe also other like destroy object and Team Dethmatch.

Capture the points: 1 attack team and 1 defend team or 2 attack and defend team. There will be a x number of points ( could be a brige or a road and so on) You will respawn at your team´s checkpoint nearest the front. In each Spawn point there will be ammo for your weappons.

(Team Dethmach): You will only hawe a x number of lives (like 3) and you and your team will hawe to kill the other ^^ and try to not get shooten.

(Destroy Objectives): 1 team will be a Assoulter and 1 Defender. The Assoult team will hawe to destroy the enemys Objects that the Defender will defend (like in dods).

(Campain): Only 1 team will be able to shose. For example You and your team will hawe to rettirate to a village with the enemies after you.

History
1931 14 April: King Alfonso XIII leav the cuntry and Spanish second republic begins and the Republicans wins the election. With this event will flow a serie of Strikes and streat conflicts.

1933 3 June: Pope Pius XI (On Oppression Of The Church Of Spain)condemned the Spanish Government's deprivation of the civil liberties on which the Republic was supposedly based

1936: It is a extremely tight selection wich result that resulted with 34 percent of the popular vote to the Popular Front and 33 percent to the incumbent government of the CEDA. In Spain fear of revolution starts. It is a time of period of rising tensions with political voilence. 330 people were assassinated, 1,511 were wounded in politically-related violence, 213 failed assassinations attempts and 113 general strikes.

1936 12 July: Lieutenant José Castillo a member of the Assoult Guards (a Socialist special police corps created to deal with urban violence) gets murdred by a far right group of people.

1936 13 July: The Assoult Guards arrest José Calvo Sotelo, a leader of the conservative opposition in the Cortes (Spanish parliament).

1936 17 July: The planed coup begins over all spain. Hwo will win ?? it is up to you .

The battle for Madrid:(7th-23rd November 1936) Will take part in Casa de Campo.
Battle of Belchite:(August 24th - September 7th 1937) Town of Belchite ( Republic offensive)

THe Nationalists
The Nationalists is opposed by the separatist movements, but are chiefly defined by their anti-communism and their fear of Spain breaking up, which serves as the galvanizing agent of diverse or even opposed movements like falangists or monarchists. This side are called the "Nationalists", the "rebels", or the "insurgents". Their opponents referr to them as the Fascists or Francoists.

Their leaders have a generally wealthier, more conservative, monarchist, landowning background, and they favour the centralization of state power. Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, as well as most Roman Catholic clergy, support the Nationalists, while Portugal's Estado Novo provid logistical support. Their forces were gathered into the "Ejército Nacional " or National Army.

The Republicans
The Republicans (also known as Spanish loyalists) receiv weapons and volunteers from the Soviet Union, Mexico, the international Socalist movement and the International Brigades. The Republicans rang from centrists who support a moderately capitalist liberal democratcy to revolutionary anarchist and comunists; their power base is primarily secular and urban, but also includ landless peasants, and it is particularly strong in industrial regions like Asturias and Catalonia. This faction is called variously the "loyalists" by its supporters, the "Republicans", "the Popular Front" or "the Government" by all parties, and "the reds" by its enemies. The conservative, strongly Catholic Basque country, along with Galicia and the more left-leaning Catalonia, sought autonomy or even independence from the central government of Madrid. This option is left open by the Republican government. All these forces are gathered under the "Ejército Popular Republicano" (EPR) or Republican Popular Army.

wikipedia lol, Great idea for a mod, Something new is really what needs to be pumped into game industry's these days.

First world war started when the Arch Duke Ferdinand was assassinated in Austria and Germany allied with them against the Serbs and blah blah blah.

Spanish Civil War is excellent idea, I envisioned it being made on Red Orchestra(i.e. Unreal 2.5) engine, that'd rock!

Yes I hawe RO and I hawe seen that post but I think that it is funnier to do for HL2 but thats only my opinion ^^ . I like your "signalment "I don't need to ''get a life''. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!!!".

Well, that's the truth As far as engines go, UT based engines would be a better deal, since it will be easier to represent mechanized warfare, in source your best shot is to make mod infantry only, too much of a headache trying to program vehicles for MP mod.
