New Alien Reform website Thread

I made a new website for my mod, Alien Reform. I hope this will draw in a larger fan base and some more team members. I am in need of help from such people, so it would be cool if anyone is interested.

Get rid of the HL2 logo, not really needed.

I like it but the background seems a little much to me... I dunno its hard to explain, naybe someone else will see what I am talking about :s

To me the background seems to male everything blend together so nothing really stands out or cathes your eye :o just a big mass of green

I dunno I just think its the fact that I am not really a fan of the textured/3d looking background, if it were me I would probably just go with like solid green or something

I thought the background went well with it, and I think the HL2 logo is there so people can tell which engine its for....

i like it , but i would also change the background. I would prefer to have a little more stable, constant look, not this shaky sort. It makes the whole website look to instable. But generally it looks nice

Okay, Thanks for your responses, I made a little update on it to a solid plaid background. I can agree it looks alot better now. Any more suggestions?

Looks great.. I think the background is darker than I expected but other than that its awesome!

You could help by giving me some suggestions to improve upon

The actual image that is the website seems to be alone and randomly in the middle of no where. May I suggest moving it along the side to make it hug against the side of the page? I dunno if thats done after making it or not.

Maybe you could add a texture to certain parts, just not that wild 3d looking one.

also u could close off that part I scribbled in on to make it have a cave sort of look but thats just me...

I agree with Blinks, even just plain black looks much better.
