Need SFX Thread

Hello guys, I'm currently working on a new game. I kinda wanna know where I can get free SFX and be able to use them for commercial use. I need SFX for weapons and I also plan to download the Ambient Sound pack to help me with a few other sounds. Can anybody answer my question.

By searching for the right license on google (or even youtube) you may encounter people which give away sounds as far as you credit them, some are public domain but it's always nice to credit anyway when using them.

For instance, an example of google search to get what you are looking for would be...

So just open Google.com and type something like: intext:"Royalty"+"Free"+"Sounds"
Which will show up all results you are most likely looking for.

But keep in mind that royalty free does not mean that ALL sounds are free, some may offer royalty free sounds for a price, so you may want to add an extra tag there to "filter" them out.

I need SFX like blade sounds from scythe and gunshots. Also knife sounds and maybe a few ambient sounds for background music. I'm am making a game about 2 brothers who used to be beggars which were forced to be thieves to survive and then a long story after, they became assassins. I need sounds of punches, kicks, blades, guns, bows, noise and more. Please just put the download links even if they really from different sites. Also, if you have a few ideas of how I can actually make the game please post it on my games page on Indiedb.
