I made a weapon model (VP70), textured it etc. then following Stormy's 'Rigging a weapon for Source' tutorials managed to skin the arms and gun and do the animations, but when look at the model in model viewer and in game its extremely malformed. I'm guessing it's a bone problem, as the bones are in the wrong place, I've got no idea how to fix it though. |

upload the picture to photobucket or imageshack and then post a link so at least someone can visually see whats wrong. --

what program are you using then? nvr heard of a program that does that :s otherwise, try print screen -- °w° |

Yep i got the image on photobucket and everything but it wont let me post the link. I could try splitting it up with spaces but it might be against the rules or something. Also I aren't that dumb that i can't make a print screen... |

Na i didn't say you said i was dumb, just saying that if you can't take a print screen you aren't the sharpest erm knife. |

One thing It could be moaning about is the way I made my bones. In Stormy's tutorial he used parts of the hand mesh as bones instead of actual bones, and since I'm using a different exporter than him (mine works with MAX 2008) it might not recognise them as bones or something and mess up my anims. Still wouldn't really explain why my gun is nowhere in sight . Oh well if any experienced 'gunsmith' could help me I'd appreciate it. EDIT:If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
