my online rts mod idea Thread

hi boys, first post here. I thought of a mod where you blend online rts with fps and 3rd person. I made a very basic design doc. Tell me whatcha think? And whoever wants to help is welcome.

Well, this is basically Natural Selection, which does the same thing (rts and 3rd person are the same thing, btw), but maybe you'll be able to come up with new ideas for the hybrid genre. Just come up with more work for it so people will get more interested.

my mod will be more like bf1942 than natural selection

and when I say 3rd person, i don't mean rts. rts is top down view, god like. 3rd person is like tomb raider or ut2k4's vehicles

the BASIC in basic design doc needs to be underlined, boldisized, and italicized. But yeah, looks promising, definitely.

It's sort of like a backwards Natural selection. An RTS with FPS elements, as opposed to vice versa.

just a little tip on the rim: try to use the edit button instead of tripple posting.

and rts does not have to be top-down all time...
