My News are only show up on SLIDEDB? Thread

Hello! My recent 2 news only show up on SLIDEDB. (And i got the confirmation mail also from SLIDEDB)
I have tagged them correctly, my game is targeted to PC/Mac and it is on IndieDB.

So what is happening?

Hello, yes if your news doesn't meet Indie DB standards (at least 3-4+ paragraphs of text, 4+ images and/or 1 video to be on the safe side), and it is somehow related to tablet/smartphone apps, it can be only featured on Slide DB as SDB has much lower quality expectations than IDB.

To have your news frontpaged on all three sister sites (Mod DB, Indie DB, Slide DB), your article has to have included tons of fresh media (screenshots, renders etc. as well as your own videos as somebody else's let's play vids don't count at all) and quite a decent amount of text (best more than a few passages).

So to have your article land on the front page of IDB, you have to embed more than 2 images and write more about your recent progress.

Also on a side note, release news takes priority over progress updates and other types of articles, so it usually goes through milder reviewal process.

EDIT: so not sure why your 2nd article Indiedb.com was not featured on both, but it has been bumped and frontpaged on Indie DB now. If there are any questions regarding articles and other content not featured/approved or in need of further reviewing, they can be answered via a private message.
