Cant put a partitioned Maxtor 40gb hd into a P100, it won't work with the motherboard. It didn't explode, the processor bit the dust. It wasn't my video card (no vid card, you get consecutive beeping), and there was no startup beeps ever, nothing could display, thus the computer is wasted. What I use now? P100 w/ Voodoo2 and 1GB HD, DoD v1.0 works, but swaps ram like hell -- < insert subject games here >

The Kyro is AGP, the Pentium won't work with it. Anything other than that is a slow Riva 128 and a TNT which performs worse than the Voodoo2. CheapHack Quake works but I lost the source now - Edited By CheapAlert On Mon 5th, May 2003 @ 5:03:25pm -- < insert subject games here >

anyways... it sux0rz when a comp bites the dust... i had a faulty video card when my comp died last time... took out my video card, mobo, power supply, ram, sound card, and corrupted my hard drive past the point of me being able to get anything off it... -- ___________________________

Actually I keep it all the way to the max, because putting it any lower doesn't speed things up. And as for you The_Wolf, your FPS is pretty pathetic due to the TNT2... i remember having one in my 266 and it then was equal to that Pentium 100 I have now! I scored 62 3dmarks with it and returned it. A GeForce2, Kyro2 or a Radeon would pump the frames up by 3x. - Edited By CheapAlert On Tue 6th, May 2003 @ 8:58:49am -- < insert subject games here >
