I need someone to make mods with i know how to use unreal editor learned it in 2 weeks i am learning valve hammer right now im good at drawing, planning attacks (so making attack strategies for the games) I would prefer to do a reality based game but not ww2 theres to many of those lol. I would like to do a mod about Northern Ireland ive been there and know alot about the conflict there. Before an offer of something like is taken seriously, you need to have a community history of actually making intelligent contributions. Just saying you are willing to help doesn't mean you actually can.

LOL Sorry if that was a bit forward "blushes" im new to this but i have a lot of ideas that sound good 2 me. Havent really shared them much so i dont know the rules to posting help wanted stuff:(. ya makes sense longbow i will make a first map and put it out and see what people think, i can do everything but the skins and weapons. But id like to do some things for it to set it apart from the others. Like if possible you know how superhero mod u can have a line that connects to your enemy well if u can do that couldnt u use it as a laser sight for your mp5 and bind a key to use it. I havent seen any laser sights on halflife mods. and for my mod i want to have a story line to it. So if my cts (example) take over the t's building and win they spawn in the building next round. Then move up a group of maps made of a town for example, split into sections. I think they have that on medal of honour but i havent seen it in halflife mods. If its possible to i would like to disable spectator so those lamers who die and know someone whos playing cant tell his buddie over roger wilco ect... where his buddies enemy is.

ct/t games don't go down well here, and with good reason. Make a list of all the ct/t games/mods out there, it'll take you a loooong time. Something more original would be nice

O yah! how do u test the height of your map i want to see how high a fence would be to one of the players up to his waist im hoping. the player would be as big as act or t from Cs. Plus i dont have worldcraft configured yet just valve hammer. im a naughty naughty boy.

Building the map and playing it is sufficient for testing. Why must ye insist on referring to Cs - it's not something that's very popular in my books.

Worldcraft is a version of Hammer.

Maybe you oughta show some examples, people like examples. Although I would recommend you get a website first as this isn't the 'Show Off' forum.

Might I also suggest you write up a brief compilation of interests; a short resumé if you will. Presentation says a lot about a person... first impressions and all.

Actually, I find it spawned all the things I loathe. Smack-talking 13 year olds clogging up the servers, spammng everywhere. Lots of those not willing to want to work on a mod team applying for everything without previous skill, churning out irritating mode ideas, introducing corporate modding for intended profit, plus it wasn't actually all that good. It had extremely limited playability in my opinion.
