mod does not work! Thread

this is for call of duty world at war, the mod is called frontlines 1.2. i dont think this mod works anymore, i did everthing that it said to in the readme, but i keep getting "steam error" if anyone has teamviewer could you help me out? really a huge fan of this game, even my friends cant figure out why it isnt working, we all get the same message "steam error" i know i could play online with the mod on a online server, but i dont have good internet, thats why i wanted to play locally, anyway, i hope someone can find some time to help me out, thanks
