I'm gonna go with number 4. In number 7, I've seen that fist image in alot of art works but a good idea all the same. -- If Im not me, who the hell am I? |

Mr.Kadish wrote:Guys seriously.
If i saw someone walking around with a t-shirt that said "Create your own worlds" with a giant hand and globe, i'd probably slug him in the gut. If it were me doing the wearing, i'd throw myself off a bridge. Is there a serious lack of self awareness going down here, or what? This isn't the 80s Mr.Kadish, seriously? Number two doesn't even have anything to do with ModDB! Funny? Try corny. Every time I see some douche wearing one of those shirts I want to strap him to the waterboard! I have no idea how number one or two got into the contest: they have nothing to do with ModDB, let alone modding! At least all the others have something to do with modding. |

It was stated very early on... (During first submission stage) that shirt designs with a general "Gaming Theme", and the "ModDb Theme" were both welcome! Actually, The general "Gaming Theme" was encouraged! Basically, submissions to this competition didn't necessarily have to solely promote ModDb... General "Gaming" themed designs were also encouraged and welcomed from the very start! Edited by: Orion |

I think 7 would look pretty good with a red and yellow color scheme, but that's just me. |

Voted for #6, as it best displays the creative potential and possibilities of modding though - as another member already said - I would recommend to change the font of the slogan "build your own" as it looks too generic. Edited by: projektariel |

This needs to be put on the frontpage or something. It's already two pages down, and the voting's only been open a few days. How are people going to be able to vote if they don't even know where to do it, or that they can even vote in the first place? |

I think all of them are great - some are funny, others have a nice style and some others state a message or a comment. Numbers 3,4,5 and 7 are the best in my opinion. I ended up choosing number 4, although 7 also has a really cool idea. Edited by: Rigelblast |

Cool! So how is the judging going to work, exactly? Obviously it'll be based at least partially on how popular each design is, but what are the other factors? Can there be multiple winners (I think that was mentioned, but correct me if I'm wrong), and if so, how many? |

We are going to look at the votes - obviously we want to pick a shirt you guys want to wear so votes is most important. Then we will think about how we can finalize the design and get it in the store and thats it. I'd like to have a few winners, but to get a shirt in the store we need to print out quite a few, so unless they are going to sell we cannot just pick them all |

You voted... and here are your winners 4, 6 and 7. Huge thanks to everyone who voted, discussed and designed shirts during this competition. I'll be in touch with the winners and provided we can refine these designs to a professional state, you should hear from me in a few weeks time when they are available via our store. Also one final question. What colors would you like to see these shirts in? What do you wear most?

I like 5 and it would be cool if the design was on the back and on the front upper right would be the moddb.com logo to match the logo on the back. |

Woohoo! Congrats to the other winners (I designed #6, by the way). I personally think #7 would look great in red, and maybe with the imagery colored yellow? Heck, I could use more shirts with nice bright colors. |

For # 6, I personally think black and white would work best. However, if you wanted color, perhaps I could add a bright red bloodstain to the chainsaw, a la Sin City. |

Sounds great... so what about making the slogan "Build your own" more custom as well by using edited letters from game titles, like turning the Lambda - Sign of Half Life 180 degree to get a "Y" in "Your"? This may emphasize the principles of modding you already depicted in the graphic at the back of the shirt... |

I went with #1, but it was really a tossup between that and #7 for me |
