How long is your average bout when playing your chosen MMO?

I don't play them any more, but I used to play perhaps 3 hours, maybe more depending on what was happening. If there were a special event, I'd perhaps be there for as many hours I could reasonably do.
Pretty much like any game I guess, if it captivates me and gets me into something then it could be quite some hours of continual play.
I've not stuck to playing MMO's much, first Runescape (the classic vacuum version), which I'd play for hours as MMO's were new to me, then Pristontale maybe a couple of hours with people, Entropia Universe, many hours sometimes, I loved exploring and the atmosphere at places, while not always doing any core thing like hunting or something.
Last few MMO's I played lasted me a week or less, getting to level 5, they never quite got me in, it was like I was playing the same games, Anarchy Online lasting a bit longer, but got tedious running around a lot.

I haven't been playing MMOs regularly for a while, but when I do I tend to play for at least a few hours (mostly because that's how long it takes for group instances) but I'd only do that a few days a week.

Ive taken a 2 month sabbatical from MMO due to both boredom and burnout. At my peak I was probably playing about 25 hours per week, then as I got to the endgame I reduced that due to boredom. taking a few months out seems like a good idea so the devs can add some more substance for top level players

My very first MMO was RuneScape; played that game almost 24/7 for around 4-5 years, and still played it as much as I could after I started getting busy schedules for another 3 years. After that stared trying GW2, Rift, AQW and others frequently, but for some reason can not find myself to enjoy them for very long like I want to, constantly jumping on and off every few months. Guess I'm just getting tired of MMO's, which blows since I love them. Once TES Online comes out, I'll definitely try, hoping that one of my favorite series brings me back into the MMO fun. I think it's because I'm becoming too reliant on customization, I get down if I don't see my type of character living up to it's expectation. MMO's are really addicting, but I guess everything becomes dull after a while.

When I was a little bit younger I use to have more time to just splat out for 12+ hours a day. But these days I can only generally play an mmo for a few hours casual.
