Hey guys,

Following on from my bug list thread. A new question.

What software do people recommend for Mind maps/Program Flow Diagrams.

Ive tried Smartdraw, but the pricetag is abit steep. Especially since ill use only a small number of features.

Ive also tried Diagram Ring, but you can't increase the size of the canvas (Ive already ran out of space :( ), otherwise it would be ideal for my needs.

I know there are hundreds out, there just wondering if anyone has recommendations.

Regards,

John

Are you a student? If so you can get a free copy of MS Visio. I love that one.

I don't know if it supports mind maps but it can do things like turn your program flowcharts into source code.

What exactly is a mind map?

Cheers for the reply, nah im not a student sadly, just making my game as a hobby after work :)

Heard Visio is a good one but it costs, im willing to pay but I know there is free solutions around...there is a wacking great list on Wikipedia about it. But was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a recommended one and save me going through that list one by one.

Mind map is more of an ideas thing......Software taht can do Flow diagrams(like visio)  should also be able to do mind maps :)

Regards,

John

There's an option for flow charts in Open Office, which you can download for free.
