	There's a mechwarrior game that runs on newer pcs? I get like 1000 fps on the original mechwarrior, making it unplayable because it's too fast.

There's Megamek and/or MekHQ which basically let you play a Battletech skirmish or even campaign on virtually every BT era, from pre-Star League to 3145 so that might count. TheDPE	This battle tech looks really good. They planned to add PVP as last stage of founding and that's a pity since it was the main attraction IMHO in mech games. There are still 14 days of kickstarter, we'll see.
