making a HUD (HL2), please help? (tutsite?) Thread

Hello,

My latest new sp-mod for HL2 ep2 called Epsiode 3; The Closure is almost
done. There are still a few things that need to be made as for instance the
HUD. I have the new images for it but i now need a good tutorial (or advice)
to make it. Even better would be if someone could help me out with this
so i can concentrate on the other things that still need to be done.

So, does anyone know a good tutorial for making a HL2 HUD?
I have found a few but those were not good or didn't make sence at all.
Please help??
I am struggeling with this for quit a few weeks now and it holds the development
back.

There's also some youtube links at the bottom, maybe those are a little more understandable.
Actually, I'd like to help you out, but a) I don't have very much experience in making a HUD (I'm just getting started with the GUI stuff in the SDK) and b) I don't have any time left because of university.

you gave me. I did knew that site indeed, but overlooked those 3 youtube links
at the bottum. And ones i started watching those i completely forgot to thank
you here. Sorry for that.

Those movies do make things much more clear, it still amazes me that we need to
do so much work to change the HUD. But, i will look in to it.
(Looks like this mod never ends development, joking, am near the end now.)
