Apologies for troubling this forum but we are researchers looking for someone to help us help our patients who have Parkinson' disease a condition characterised by severe walking impairments. Previously with the assistance of a programmer from this forum a number of years ago, we developed a virtual reality paradigm adapted from the Quake game environment. This was then combined with MRI scanning to discover the pattern of brain activity underlying the walking problems in Parkinson's disease. If you are interested in learning more about our research feel free to check out the vodcast below or some of the published research that been generated from this paradigm and significantly helped to advance our hopes for treating Parkinson's disease: We would now like to create an updated version of this paradigm by creating a new map for the VR environment.
