Whilst I understand that, I don't think you're helping with the growing problem composers face everyday, being expected to spend their time and effort on a whole soundtrack for nothing. It'd be nice if there was even a little bit for their hard work given back. And, with no guarantee that a project will even get finished, I don't feel that "some tracks for your portfolio" really cuts it. Not attacking you, just stating a point from the perspective of a composer.

its ok ^^
but u dont understand the mainthing

Art has something to do with money, but does the davinci painted for money?
The question is more, do i pay u for inspiration or for the work?
Both of it to answer with NO, no god artist needs money to be creative, money is just a thing to pay the tools like your sound libarys or the instruments.
Money is only usefull for the tools, and someone who already has those tools does not need money ^^.

This is a project about many people build something together with bare hands, in future days this will change, but not now.
I think u are a very good composer, but i think, looking only for money is not very "creative" or good.

pls no more opinions here, this is a searching thread.

respectfull
Darkrael

That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying some form of compensation for the time spent would be nice. I don't compose solely for money, but creativity doesn't pay the rent if you don't earn anything from it. Da Vinci earned a living, people didn't expect him or any other contemporary painter to work for free.

You missed my point. I didn't say any good artist needed money to be creative, but artists do need to make some sort of upkeep to help them live. I have done some very small projects and even then they've given something as a gesture of good will, understanding that I'll give them my best, but I still spent the time and effort to help them.

I'm not saying you have to or that even anyone here agrees with me, but you have to understand that it is work.

If your still looking I am interested. I have to wait 7 days to post an URL because I'm new but you can find the URL to my webpage on my main page. You will find my music there.

Let me know if interested.
