### Introduction

Hi
All. I am a programmer and game developer and I am looking for a long term partner to help me grow an indie studio and work on a project
next year.

An introduction from me:

I am based in London UK on GMT+0 timezone. I work in IT full time so I have natural commitments there to take care of. However, my spare time in the
evenings and weekends would all be dedicated to progressing this project and the studio. I am in my early 30's age wise.

I have an extremely technical background. I also have a very broad range of programming experience. I can program in Python, lua, C# .NET/XNA/Monogame confidently. I can provide links to some of my past prototyping games (videos of them). I am also learning how to use Unity3d IDE currently, this may be a good tool to use moving forward.

I am a real perfectionist when it comes to creating a concept or an idea. You will find that sometimes I won't accept it just as is, it must work as we want exactly and only through playing and testing will we be happy. I will drive you up the wall with regards to that characteristic of me. I hope the person I find will
be the same, I wan't someone who wont settle with "it looks ok". I listen really well to ideas, Im always open to discussion and thats what I would expect in return.

I love video games, always have and always will. I love retro style games and pixel art in particular. I also really like the RPG genre. I like games with a story behind them, or one where you make your own story. I love fantasy, D&D type things. I was also an avid W40k and Necromunda tabletop player when I was younger.

### What I am looking for

An extremely creative individual with attention to detail and patience to work on a project over a period of time. You must be a skilled pixel artist or an artist who is moving into doing pixel art. You have to be able to provide a few examples of work, pixel art being at least one piece. This is only because I am keen to work on a 2d project that I am mentioning below. If you are a programmer with awesome art skills as well, that is perfect!

This is a call for someone to take a 50/50 stake in a project and studio with regards to the art direction and game design. You will have similar interests to me as mentioned in my introduction.

I am not in a rush to find the right person, but I really want to step into next year with someone who will really work well with me. There is no final concrete decision on the project name/idea/concept or anything like that. You join me to work with me and to provide 50/50 of the ideas and work.

Ideally you will be in the GMT+0/1 timezone or able to work around that. If you are based in London, or nearby, even better!

### The Project & the Studio

Again, this is just a very rough outline of the project, it's not set in stone.

A fast paced 2d RPG platformer in a pixel art style. I have an idea around the story and the concept which may make it really unique, will share them with the right person of course! :)

The studio, which again is just a name and a concept is called Sagan Interactive (pronounced "Sar-gan". It's a play on the scandinavian/old norse word for story saga/n. Thats because I love story driven games.

### Moving forward

Please drop me a private message or drop me a mail to mark at saganinteractive.com if you think you are the right individual to team up with me!

Cheers,

If you see any pixels pleasing to the eyes, maybe we can discuss ideas/collab?

Thanks for your email. I would like if you added a bit of small detail in it though! :) I am keen to find the right person/persons to work with so I need to know we are like minded in some respects.

Cheers,

Mark
