(Sorry if this is in the wrong place)

I'm looking to do weapon textures for an original mod. Not a WW2 mod, not some Counter Terrorist mod or any realistic current time mod, but something original (including weapons, no M4s and AKs those guns you see in every mod). I don't have anything to show off really, since I've reformated recently. But I could try and dig something up to show (though it would be from a long time ago if I did manage to find something).

I'm not an elite skinner, but I do have knowladge in the field. If your in need of someone to skin your weapons, and are willing to recruit someone whos willing to improve, then feel free to contact me.

We'd love to have you aboard. We're in need of a texture artist, and I'm sure the team members are in need of someone such as yourself. We are going for something original in the field of modding, namely not going for an FPS war game. Ours is a third-person anime action mod, with a focus on both melee and gunplay aspects. We feel like we have something going for us, so if you're looking to join a team, please feel free to check out our Moddb profile and our forums.

Most of our team members are improving as they work, so you shouldn't feel left behind. We already have models that you can skin as well. :)

Email me at PrinceMalcolm@msn.com if you're interested.

I like the concept work, its really great. Could I possibly see some of the models I would be working with? :)

Lol, well, I don't know if the concept art will be sticking around for the MP version of the mod, but we're trying our best to get the old concept artist to keep working. Our new concept artist, however, is very talented, and you'll also like his talent. :)

Currently, we have a few renders available. I sure hope hERd doesn't mind me linking these. lol

As soon as we get more concept art done for characters, we will work on weapon concepts and start pumping those out. I'll be getting in contact with hERd and see what other weapons he can come up with. If you want, you can also come up with some weapon concepts to work with, if you so desire.

For now, let's move to a private discussion :) I don't want to reveal all the underground media to everyone. :D

Well, Although you're looking at HL2, you might be interested in working for MTS - Mech Tactical Simulation (profile page | website), a total conversion mod for Battlefield 2, based on the Battletech franchise (seen in the MechWarrior games). Yes, i know it's not original material, BUT it's not a terrorist or WW2 mod either, it's set in the year 3067 and features (among others) Mechs, advanced weaponry, battle armored suits, etc.
BF2 is to be released in a few months, but the developers and our team have been in contact, and they have supplied information (and do so on a regular basis) on polycounts, tex resolution, map sizes, etc etc, so work is possible. The quality of our work has seen it featured in the March edition of PC Gamer UK magazine, and i was just told it's been spotted in the April edition of PC Gamer US magazine.

Check out our site's Media section, for examples of our work, and contact me at masakari@battletechmodproductions.com if you're interested
