CrazyGoat Always very :tired:	Oh boy, here we go now... my pc spec are: amd3200+ Venice s939 single core cpu, single gpu (so no dual gpu on board, nor it is SLI) is Nvidia 7600GT, on board integrated realtek sound and, of course, I have no AGEIA PPU (pick-pocketing-u ). So i downloaded and installed warmonger... took the most of time during installation to extract maps (i'm not expert, but i guess it is probably because of destructible environment, since they say you can almost completely level down the map with destruction, except some key elements such as map borders and objectives) and the it took a lot of time to precompile shaders.... then I got into game (offline tutorial), put every ingame option to minimum at resolution 640x480, tried to play a bit (it was indoor area and very, very choppy, low framerate)... and crashed to desktop with some warning about missing file... i tried offline multiplayer with bots: couldn't even spawn because of crash with the same message.... i don't dare to lag online with this since i have low framerate and crashes offline, so i uninstalled itso i guess you do need core2duo from intel and 7900 nvidia gpu at minimum to play (since i guess CPU compensates for the lack of PPU). If you have PPU beside those mentioned components, i believe you should be able to play the game... on high details probably... but i don't know... as far as i could see, game looks nice... and that would be first impression, hope to read some of your opinions if you can make it through this game and play Edited by: CrazyGoat -- Really good luck in everything that is really good. DGen	"Starsiege: Tribes (usually called Tribes or Tribes 1) is a sci-fi first-person shooter (FPS) computer game. It is the first of the Tribes video game series and follows the story from Earthsiege and Starsiege. It was developed by Dynamix and published by the company now known as Sierra Entertainment in 1998. Tribes was one of the first online-only games of its kind and sported several multiplayer features that other games have only recently included (32+ player support, 128 players max, troop transport vehicles, several different player classes). Most of the standard maps were outdoors in a variety of climates, from sunshine to snow and hail. In general, bases were scattered throughout the map depending on the gametype. The outdoor environments were and still are relatively huge, extending for several kilometers in any direction, but "jetting" and "skiing" gave Tribes a fast-paced feel. On July 16, 2007, Sierra Entertainment announced that they would cease online support of Tribes starting on August 16th, 2007. However, the master server was still active after this date. As of November 2007, the Sierra Master Server is no longer active. However the community has created their own. Tough as hell though if you're new to the genre. [EDIT] Off the topic of Doom Rougelike, I found that Psi-Ops is free to download off of Filefront. From what I hear, its a very solid game (for a 'budget' title). Most of you probably remember it being off of the PS2 and such. I'll get around to editing this post to make it more fanciful and whatnot. Also, as promised... There's just an addicting nature about blasting away at textual critters, seeing the blood splatters represented by red-colored characters, and then looting their corpses of any worthwhile possessions. The forums are very active as well, and are helpful (last I checked). You start out with $100.000.000 and have to start a profitable company with that amount. You can research industries, services, commerces and other things. You need to level up, because not everything is available right from the beginning. The game is basically open-ended, but there is a goal of ascension. If you ascend, you may place a monument on the map which can't be removed. You can pursue a business-direction, but could also do politics. There are major and presidential jobs which need to be filled. This adds another layer to the game. This game is pretty detailed gameplay-wise, and will keep you busy for some time. According to the wiki article, the version that was released was amped up by the developers. Whizzard Accepted membrane	Ever heard of almighty DWARF FORTRESS? People who play it say it's brilliant if you manage to learn to play it. And probably fortressfulls of dwarves will die before you finally get it right. Supposedly it has a long and steep learning curve. Watch out for giant ants who think of dwarves as quick snack.
