Id just like to point out here, that dofus is not completely free, without paying a subscription you only have access to the first area of the game. -- leilei wrote:it might sound vapor by now but it ain't dead. MOCK MY WORDS

This one is fun. So-called ''demo'' is really the full game without Pro servers. -- leilei wrote:i hear theres this concept called money you get free stuff if you give the stores this 'money', you can get almost anything you want with money! |

I just noticed something. Shadowbane and Anarchy Online arnt on this list. :-/ Anarchyonline.com Shadowbane.com Both games are several hundred MB in size, and Shadowbane requires a CD key last time I checked (you can get one for free). Anarchy Online is good until 2008, but they've been saying that since 2005ish. -- <[[iframe]] src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/fallout81.card" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" height="140" width="204"> |

I'm just confused why noone named the Nr.1 ressource for free games: The-underdogs.info It has a lot of classic games and also some of the free games mentioned in this thread. Also here is a list of - not only - abandonware game sites: Liberated Games - excellent site "dedicated to cataloging all full commercial games that have been made free to the public" Edited by (in order): SinKing, SinKing --

Me too. We have something in common. I tried it few months ago. Though it was fun to throw a car at the others and run so fast that you dragged stuff around along with you. -- leilei wrote:i hear theres this concept called money you get free stuff if you give the stores this 'money', you can get almost anything you want with money! |

Abandonware sites suck and are quite elaborate excuses for distributing warez. Here's some officially 'free' games from the old days Classicdosgames.com Edited by: leilei -- < insert subject games here >

It is nice that this thread is still (somewhat) alive... but for the 5 days now i play Rappelz (http://rappelz.gpotato.com) it seems i can't get off it (except for the nature needs like food, play, sleep, play, play, play... you can understand now what i mean P.S. I'm aware that this bragging can lead to me being flamed (so i beg you, hold your flamethrowers), but I'm just excited about this game and i rarely get excited about anything (things that excite me can be counted on the fingers of all 3 hands of the Marsian predator Now, as my sig says... -- Really good luck in everything that is really good. ...and also don't forget to visit this website too... unless you are already there, then don't forget to come back here |

I've seen a giant list of free games, mostly MMORPGs on a MMORPG forum. Tbh 99.9% are worthless, you just play and play to get bored before reaching the max lvls, or you play till the end and get fed up with the cheaters, exploiters, ppl who call themselves leet. |

RF Online just went free to play. You go to their site, type in the security code, they generate the serial key, you download the client and set up an account on their site. It's a GREAT game to play, especially if you're into PvP. I had a blast on both the beta and the commercial version. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a free MMO to try out. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

The UT3 Ageia package is indeed moddable, and you indeed need the PPU. |
