No 'America's Army'?

Not worth playing imo, but thats not to say its not pretty well put together, it just smacks of nastiness to me.

  • Link: Game Tribe
  • Description: Game Tibe currently only features one game, but there are two more coming out. "Kicks: Online Soccer" and the one im most looking forward to, "Dream of Mirror Online". I've been looking forward to it for a very long time. The game is very similar to Mabinogi Online, if you've people heard of that game, in the sense its more focused on a "Fantasy Life MMO" style, featuring many jobs that you can do in the game, such as fishing, shearing, cooking, tailoring, metal refining and smithing, mining, collecting wood and supplies, etc. Looks really cool, but thats my thoughts.

Thanks to Ggmania.com (source where I came across the link), we can see what is going on in NCSoft Dungeonrunners.com (the free mmorpg official website).

Yeah, I've been playing Dungeon Runners for a while. Its not bad, but its currently in closed beta, meaning they select a few people every now and then, which is why I didn't add it, incase some people on this forum who register don't get invited, but its not a bad game.

Well, it says 0.75, but it also says final in it's version. About those few members, they are, I think, fileplanet subscribers that get a code to play freely for 1 week with a MEMBER status. Then, if you want to keep member status, 5 buck a month is required to pay NCSoft. When you sum it up, members there have priority when joining servers, compared to free players (like me, for 1 day I managed to get to the 10th level from 100. I think there was just one glitch in the whole gameplay so far and it was holding an item out of inventory and respawning with it after death, giving me the opportunity to sell it. No disconnections or whatsoever for now). Also, members, compared to free players, can use much better items and use king coins to acquire some rare items and use them (in my case, i used king coins to acquire some rare items from the royal treasury, just to end up selling those items since as a non-member, I can't use them :( ). Almost forget to tell you that members also can stack items in their inventory, while free players are going to find their inventory overcrowded quite soon, which forces you to return to town and sell some of your hard earned items. There is grouping (yeah, no party, no guild, no squad or I don't know what other word, just group ;) ) which helps you clear dungeons much easier and level up. While level up you say? Well, for this 1 day of playing the game, dungeons can be quite hard when solo, making me almost abandoning some of the quests since they weren't easy do achieve. I hope that when I level up, the quest solving will go much easier when solo, although you can quest in group too. One note too: registering the game can be quite pain in the neck, especially when it comes to e-mail verification. Just be patient and don't forget to read all directions how to download installer, installation file (total download shouldn't exceed 430Mb), open a general account and game account etc. Just a word from the world chat in there, as some sort of a first impression for this game: the game is better than world of warcraft and it looks like Diablo. Then they started bashing blizzard that they can't touch this game which they found also to be a humorous answer from NCSoft to the blizzard game(s). Anyway, as my sig says...

Why hasn't this been stickied yet?

We don't want it to get lost in the depths of the archives, do we?

It's okay. I never go outside Active Topics unless it's to find a specific post, make a thread, or help pinpoint someone. I've actually unstickied things in the past on accident. XD

I think this should be updated though, so that the newly posted links goon the main page with the rest, to avoid constant page flipping.

Great thread.

I'd like to add

World of Padman
LINK:http://padworld.myexp.de/

Was originally a quake 3 mod, and I guess ID let them release it as a standalone. It's a very cartoony first person shooter, where all the maps are RATZ maps. It also contains a few rune type powerups and many funky weapons (that do borrow from unreal 0x somewhat).

It's online, of course, and very good for a free game.
